To maintain a safe, family-friendly environment:

• Alcohol, smoking, vaping, and intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited.

• Anyone violating this will be asked to leave the premises without refund.

• Follow Dustlit crew instructions at all times.

• Do not touch telescope lenses or equipment without permission.

• Use red lights only. Bright white lights disrupt night vision.

• Nights may get cold—wear warm clothing.

• Carry essential personal medication.

🔧 Equipment Care Guidelines

• Avoid running or playing near telescopes.

• No mobile flash or bright lights near observers.

• Assist children when using telescopes.

• Any damage to equipment due to negligence may be chargeable.

• Tripod – essential for long exposures.

• DSLR/Mirrorless/Phone with manual mode.

• Wide-angle lens for Milky Way/star trails.

• Extra batteries & SD cards (cold drains battery faster).

• Remote shutter / intervalometer.

Phone Photography Tips

• Use Night Mode or Pro Mode.

• Stabilize the phone on a tripod or surface.

• Use low ISO + long exposure for clean shots.

🔄 Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellations by Participants

• 7 days or more: 100% refund

• 3–6 days: 50% refund

• Less than 3 days / No-show: No refund

2. Cancellations by Dustlit

If cancellation is required due to bad weather, low registrations, or unforeseen circumstances, we offer:

• 100% refund, OR

• Rescheduling to a future event (subject to availability)

No refunds for partial cancellations once the event has begun.

3. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 7 working days to the original payment method.

• Please arrive 15–20 minutes early.

• Bring water, light snacks, and warm clothing.

• No bright lights or loud music.

• Follow on-site parking instructions.

• Photography allowed, but no flash.
